²¹主 耶和华 如此说 ：我将这四样 大灾 ―就是刀剑 、饑荒 、恶 兽 、瘟疫 降 在耶路撒冷 ，将人 与牲畜 从其中剪除 ，岂不更重么？

²¹For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?^a

²¹ Verse 21. My four sore judgments] SWORD, war. FAMINE, occasioned

by drought. PESTILENCE, epidemic diseases which sweep off a great

part of the inhabitants of a land. The NOISOME BEAST, the

multiplication of wild beasts in consequence of the general

destruction of the inhabitants.
