⁷若是从六十 岁 以上 ，男人 你要估定 十五 舍客勒 ，女人 估定十 舍客勒 。

⁷And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

⁷ Verse 7. Sixty years old] The old man and the old woman,

being nearly past labour, were nearly of an equal value; hence

the one was estimated at fifteen shekels, 2�. 5s., the other at

ten shekels, 1�. 10s. This was about the same ratio as that of

the children, Le 27:5, and for the same reason.
